NEED 2013 (National Entrance Exam for Design)

For admission into NID Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) : a 4-year intensive professional UG programme offered in INDUSTRIAL DESIGN  (Product Design, Furniture & Interior Design,Ceramic & Glass Design), COMMUNICATION DESIGN (Graphic Design, Animation Film Design, Film & Video Communication, Exhibition [Spatial] Design), TEXTILE, APPAREL AND LIFESTYLE DESIGN (Textile Design). 

Eligibility : Students who have passed or who will appear for qualifying examinations under the Higher Secondary (10+2), or equivalents like AISSCE/ IB/ ICSE etc. 

Upper age limit for candidates is 20 years (relaxable by 3 years for reserved categories)

 DAT 2013 (Design Aptitude Test)

 For Admission into NID Post-Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (PGPD)  is a 2 to 2½ year programme offered in the following specific areas of sectoral specialisation in 17 design programmes.

Eligibility : Candidates having a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent including those who will be appearing for the qualifying examinations during the academic year.

Upper age limit for candidates is 30 years (relaxable by 3 years for reserved categories)
